Speaker 1: Today we're going to take a look at the K-Source driver side manual custom flip-out towing mirror. Now this is a custom fit part. It is designed to fit the 2002 to 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 trucks and the 2003 to 2009 Dodge Ram 2500 and 3500 trucks. And on a custom-fit part like this, I do recommend to go to our website, use our fit guide, put in your year and model vehicle and it will show if this will work for your application.Now this is an extendable towing mirror that will replace the factory side-view mirror on your vehicle. There's no need to use any snap-on or strap-on mirrors that you constantly have to ut on and take off. As a flip-out function here, makes it very easy to see around the side of your trailer, so that you can safely change lanes, pass and park.
Basically, all you have to do is just rotate the mirror face to the outside and it extends your line of sight by about four and a half inches. And then when you're not towing, you push the mirror right back into place.It is a manual mirror face adjustment, so to adjust the mirror, you do have to use your hand to adjust it. Also, has this little part up here, as a built-in spotter mirror. This will help produce blind spots. It is a hinge design so it does allow you to fold the mirror up against the vehicle for parking or for fitting into tight spaces.
It's a nice, durable plastic housing. Has a textured black finish to it. It is custom it for your vehicle. And it is a simple, no-drill installation. You can see it has the same footprint and mounting points as your factory mirror and they do even include new mounting nuts to install it.This part is for the driver's side mirror only.
A few specs on this. Going to measure the mirror face itself, just to give you an idea. With inaudible 00:01:27, it's right at 10 inches. Overall height is right at seven inches. The spotter mirror is right at about three and a half inches by three and a half inches.
Now, the overall length when this is pushed in just like this, regular position from here to here is 17 1/2 inches. And when you flip it out, you gain four and a half inches, so it's about 22 inches from here to here.And this mirror is Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard approved. But that should do it for the review on the K-Source Driver's side manual custom-flip out towing mirror.

They are fading pretty bad even after always cleaning them and regularly washing and coating.

These mirrors are great, very good quality and fit very well. I tried some from other sites and they did not fit properly and the quality was not good. I highly recommend these mirrors.
I have enjoyed having these mirrors vs the stock non extending ones. They have increased my visibility greatly.
I do wish I had opted for the ones with power but it’s not a must. I would buy them again.
